Known as one of Japan’s techno pioneers, his career has spanned decades with releases on R&S, founding his label 70 Drums, and composing music for the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics.

This November 1, Ken Ishii takes over the Bar Smith rooftop from 3 PM to 9 PM, offering a daytime twist with open air vibes, and hypnotic, raw underground techno energy.

Local support from Freightrain and Nathan Strohkirch ensures the vibe stays strong from start to finish. House music vibes downstairs with an extended set by Victor Castles.
